Two small ones 3' long by 1' wide by 1' high. Then two 3' long by 2' wide by 1' high
You can see my tags in some of the pic's. Little pieces of wood painted white. Used address labels covered with clear shipping tape. There are also a small door that lifts up. To get the shrimp out. Use a rubber band with a S hook to hold it open or closed. Ok here we go.. If you look closely you will see small gray U clamps inside the traps. That is for what I call the Slamming shrimp light.
Here is what they look like.
This is the parts LED come from radio shack. The rest comes from Ace hardware.
Works ok like having a flashlight in your shrimp cage. Runs off two AA batteries. It is a white light. The reason it's not green is because Radio shack LED ain't very bright only 500mcd This LED is 7000mcd and runs off 3.3 volts. Only draws 25ma. How long will the batteries last. Don't know Had them on for 9 hours and they were still going. I have another one that has 4 Led and a small pc board. Use it as a bigger area light. The two traps with lights Had almost 3x the shrimp in them. Plus they make one hell of a flashlight. Cost to make them around $5.00. I got the idea from reading the post about shrimp lights and baiting traps. I thought way not put a light inside the trap. ![]()
